In 1995, a dedicated group of individuals banded together to form The Family Resource Center, Inc. (The Center). That group had the vision to bring together the right people to create an extraordinary place for families and children. 

Today, our caring and knowledgeable staff provides more than quality, affordable child care and preschool. 

​We listen. We understand each family has unique needs. And no one knows our community like we do. That’s why we:
  • Offer FREE developmental screenings to help parents understand how their child is growing and learning. In cases where a child may need extra support, early intervention leads to early help, and that improves outcomes.
  • Provide comprehensive support for children with special needs.
  • Connect parents to local resources that specialize in supporting kids and families. We can coordinate these services for you to ensure families get the support they need, such as help with:
    • Medical and behavioral health services
    • Financial and legal support
    • Housing, goods, food, and other resources to address daily needs
    • Parenting information and support
