Ready to Learn

Preschool

We provide many preschool options for 3-, 4-, and 5-year-olds, and work with you and your child to make a convenient transition from child care to preschool. We use Frog Street Curriculum, and Creative Curriculum, and Conscious Discipline. We offer free developmental screenings, and free developmental services to children who qualify. Our hours are convenient to work and school times.

We also offer:
  • Staff certified by the Kansas Department of Education
  • A research-based approach to child development
  • Hands-on learning through activities and play

Our preschool calendar follows the USD 250 Pittsburg School District calendar. Each March, we begin enrolling for preschool to begin in August. Children also can start year-round, based on availability.

Hours:
Our morning session runs from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and our afternoon session runs from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. A snack is provided for each session.
