A Nurturing & safe environment

Our mission:

To provide children from birth to 12 years of age with a safe and caring atmosphere that promotes physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

Our goal:

For children to be ready to learn and succeed when they reach kindergarten.

Our philosophy:

We believe that children learn best through play and experience. We believe that teachers must lovingly guide and redirect the children to help them learn to cooperate with their peers and to have positive educational experiences. At The Center, we accomplish this through age appropriate material and activities, group management techniques, a low adult-child ratio, redirection strategies, and praising appropriate behavior.

Our core values:

• Active learning for children
• Warm, supportive adult/child interactions
• Welcoming environments
