Infant care:

Visit one of the infant rooms at The Center, and you'll get the feeling you're in a home. Warm and inviting, with rocking chairs and a play rug, it's under the care of a diverse staff trained in infant development. We use the Frog Street Curriculum and Conscious Discipline.

We also have:
  • A low child to staff ratio
  • Activities that promote development through exploration
  • A focus on positive social emotional development
  • Free developmental screenings
  • A sense of security

Because we are part of the USDA food program, we can provide Enfamil with Iron, rice cereal, and baby food to infants in our care when deemed appropriate by parents.

What parents will need to provide:
  • Diapers & wipes
  • Bottles
  • Two extra changes of clothes
  • Your own formula if you don't use ours, or breast milk if you're breastfeeding. (Alternatively, breastfeeding mothers are welcome to drop in and feed.)

What parents can expect:
  • Teaching staff supervise infants by sight and sound at all times
  • We check sides of cribs to ensure that they are up and locked
  • We position ourselves so we can hear and see any sleeping children
