Executive Director
Ann Elliott [email protected] Ann has worked at The Center since 2000. She ensures high quality child care and preschool services while adhering to our mission. It’s Ann’s job to monitor the quality and appropriateness of new programming and services; to promote The Center for community support and involvement; to implement and oversee policy and procedures; to engage in short- and long-term planning; to secure funding through grant writing and donations; and to act as a liaison to agencies and collaborating organizations. |
Director of Early Childhood Services
Jenny Ehling [email protected] Jenny has been at The Center since it opened in 1997 and worked throughout college in various classrooms as well as the front desk. She returned after student teaching to join the administration team in 2001. Jenny holds a bachelors in Elementary Education and a masters in Early Childhood Special Education. She oversees our food program, ensures we meet all criteria for accreditation by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, and ensures we follow state regulations by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. Jenny also is happy to help if you have questions about children, family, and staff support. |
Child Care Coordinator
Tasha McCoy [email protected] Tasha began working at The Center in 1998 as a college student majoring in Family Consumer Science, and joined our administrative team in 2008. Through the years, she’s done it all: child care provider, assistant teacher, lead teacher, preschool teacher, front desk, and assistant child care coordinator. Now, she’s the person to see if you want to enroll children for child care, preschool and school age programs, want waiting list information, or if you need family or staff support. |

Brittany Kelly [email protected] Brittany’s first experience with The Center was as a child attendee from 1997 to 2003. She then began volunteering here, and during college was a child care provider. After graduating with a degree in Family Consumer Science, she joined our staff in 2013 as the assistant child care coordinator. Business Manager
Sue Cress [email protected] Sue has worked at The Center since June 1999. She manages our business office, which includes billing parents for child care and preschool services, entering payments, preparing payroll, paying bills, and financial reporting to our Board.
